I love this place. It’s the Simms dog park (or at least that is what I call it is cause it is on Simms Street) in Westminster. Basically, the city has designated some 700+ acres of open space as an off-leash dog area and its AWESOME. I found it a few years ago and am a frequent visitor. Tals is so bad on a leash so I hate running her, but taking her for walks just doesn’t do it. Simms has a few ponds, rivers, and a bunch of trails for mountain biking or trail running, and its great cause Tals can just run around everywhere without fear of getting an off-leash ticket. In short, she and I visit Simms at least 3-4 times each week 🙂 I really wanted to take my bike out so I could really tire her out, but the wind today was BRUTAL!!!! The gusts were awful and I was sure that I was going to get thrown from my bike if I tried, so we just walked instead!
