#5: A Picture of My Morning

This is actually for yesterday, but I was so busy that I didn’t step foot near my computer all day! It’s super early now and I’m heading to work shortly, but I thought I would get this out there 🙂

Yesterday was Runnin’ of the Green, the largest 7k in the world! (But let’s be honest here–how many 7k’s are there actually?!! It’s not like 4.3 miles is a super common distance for a running race!!)

Angel, Craig, Isaac, and I all ran the race and we had a blast. We got dressed up in our green finery and it looks like we have a new champ in our midst: Angel! I’ve done lots of tri’s and running races with both Craig and Angel, but yesterday was the first time that all three of us have been at the same race together. Craig is usually the speedy one in our group, but my girl ousted him yesterday and beat him by 1 minute. Tear. I’m so proud!

After the race (and a few post-race drinks at Fado’s and Nawlins!), we all decided that some fro-yo was the best way to end the day. Craig knew of this great place over in Northfield so we piled in the cars and drove all the way out there just for frozen yogurt. It was worth it! The place is called Menchie’s and they have bins upon bins of delicious toppings. You put whatever you want on your frozen yogurt and they just weigh you in at the end. Pretty sure I put absolutely every topping on my dulce de leche 🙂

Is anyone else really struggling with this daylight savings thing???!! Awesome for after work but kinda awful for this morning!!!
