Attention Runners!

Remember months back when I ran the Georgetown Half Marathon and jacked my knee? Shortly afterwards, Amy from The Gearcaster contacted me about testing out some RockTape and writing a review. I initially met Amy on the Columbia press trip in June, so I was excited to do a review for her site. The Gearcaster is legit and was even named one of the top ten outdoor gear blogs by Outside magazine!

My legs, all RockTaped up!

For those of you that aren’t familiar, RockTape is a brand of kinesiology tape that purportedly has healing powers. But, I’m not going to spoil the review for you…so hop over to The Gearcaster and check it out!

Have you ever tried any type of kinesio tape? What did you think?

I have tried KT tape and love it, although for some reason always looses the glue on the ends…and that is frustrating. Heading over to read te review.

the one time i did use kinesio tape, it didn’t really help me. although i’m sure there is only so much that it can help with. but i mean i guess i can’t be disappointed when the only thing that did fix my injury was dry needling. i’m sure it works great for other injuries!

I’ve never tried that but I know people swear by it!

I’ve never tried it but it really intrigues me! I use a lot of medical tape though for support (ankle and wrists).

    Your shoes look so cool!

My chiropractor uses RockTape on me and I’m a fan. It’s helped me get over a nagging sore hamstring over the last few weeks.

I kinda mocked it….until I had airrosti done and it ROCKED IT!

I first heard about this tape during the olympics…and by first heard about it i mean I googled “what is that read tape going up the crotch on those volleyball players legs? I am lucky to be injury free at the moment but if I was to get hurt I would check that tape out for sure…
