Yes, someone decided to let us go riding by ourselves in Moab. Did I mention we were by ourselves? Phenomenal idea. It turned out well for us both 🙂
Anyway, Angel and I have known each other forever…or at least it seems like forever. We met in the 6th grade when we were assigned as stand partners in orchestra. I moved away to Maine and then came back in high school, and we fell right back in where we started. We did everything together back then, and even though she is happily married these days and life always takes us both to crazy busy places, we always manage to find time for each other. I’ve been doing A LOT of venting, etc., lately, and it makes me realize how much I love this gal! She always listens, offers great advice yet doesn’t say anything that I can’t handle hearing, and of course, we always have so much fun. Plus, we apparently look alike and going out together always leads to some type of comedic affair (We once had a man pull over on the side of the street in downtown Denver while we were waiting at a crosswalk, simply so he could ask if we were twins!) Annnnnnd….some may have referred to us as the “Heather-Angel Show.” Hmmmm.
And you know what else? I love peonies. Again, totally random thought but I wanted to share. I’ve been filling my house with peony bouquets!
