It is seriously a blizzard outside, and it is awesome! I took Tally for a walk in the field behind our house for a few minutes, and she loved it! She was running all over and sticking her head into the snow….total adventure for my little puppy! That was this morning, only after a few hours of snow, and it was already spilling in over the tops of my boots. I want to take her out again in a little bit, but I’m pretty sure it is going to be a mountaineering boots-and-gators kind of walk this time!
Not that I don’t love the snow, cause I do, but it did, unfortunately, screw up my Christmas plans. I am one of those worthless people that REALLY needed to finish her Christmas shopping today, and in light of this storm, it doesn’t look like that is going to happen today or tomorrow….which means I am going to be forced to choose between a phenomenal ski day or Christmas shopping on Friday…..hmmm. Think I can accomplish both in one day??
Not to mention that I am not entirely sure that I can get my truck out of the snow. Between all the snow that fell, all the snow the plows pushed against it, and all the snow I threw on it while shoveling the driveway, I’m pretty sure it is going to be parked there until spring thaw!
