Just a Colorado Gal

Burpee Pull-Ups and a Reebok Giveaway!

What is the most horrendous thing on the planet? Burpees. Burpees just suck the life out of me and make me want to puke all over myself. They are seriously so hard! I always walk away from a burpee workout feeling like I just got plowed over by a freight train, so imagine my (disguised) sadness when I headed into CrossFit last week with the following as my workout:

For those of you that aren’t big into the CrossFit world, feel free to skip the “strength” portion of the itinerary and go straight to the “workout.” See where it says burpee pull-ups? For a grand total of 50 of them? Those suckers were atrocious! Basically, you do an entire burpee only you jump into a pull-up at the end of each rep. Obviously, I (still) can’t do pull-ups so I had to do a burpee followed by a box step-up and then a jumping pull-up….but still. Pretty sure I threw up in my mouth and I was even sore the next day!

Luckily, Big Horn posts their workouts the night before, so I had prepared for my inevitable doom. I had decided to wear my all-time fave workout outfit to the gym in hopes that it would give me special athletic powers, and since I survived, I’m going to go ahead and assume that it worked. And you know what else? Reebok has agreed to give the same outfit (both top and bottom) to one lucky reader!

Here’s the outfit:

The PWR Print Legging

The Yoga Long Bra Top

Here’s the deal: Reebok sent me the tights a week or two ago, so I haven’t owned them for that long. However, Julie Foucher wore them when I worked out with her at CrossFit One in November, and I have coveted them ever since. I was beyond psyched and have worn them for approximately 85% of my workouts ever since they showed up at my door. Y’all, they are insanely comfy, and in my opinion, super cute. I’ve received lots of compliments on them and I love the print—I am beyond tired of plain black capris/leggings!

See? Julie Foucher, rocking the tights and making me look like a sloth

The Yoga Bra Top was part of a Reebok shipment that I received back in January. It is fitted, but not super tight, and it has a built-in bra with removable padding. Granted, I am not the most endowed gal out there, but I don’t have to wear a sports bra with this top. Love it. Also, I am a huge fan of the unique back—isn’t it cute?

In short, these are two of my favorites items, so I was excited that Reebok agreed to host the giveaway. Want to enter? Check out the Rafflecopter widget below!
