When I was a kid, there were very few farmers’ markets in the Denver area. I feel like I went to the massive Boulder market a handful of times, but outside of that, consumers didn’t have too many options when it came to local products and produce.
Times are a-changing though, and these days, there are farmers’ markets spread throughout the city! A new one recently cropped up next to our house, and I’m looking forward to checking it out next weekend. And although summer is wrapping up and fall is quickly approaching, there is still some time for you to check out a local market near you.
Map provided by your local Extra Space Storage
Awhile back, Extra Space Storage {random, I know!} compiled a map of Denver farmers’ markets for me so that I could post it on my site. I was a bit confused at the connection, but near as I can tell, they really just wanted to help people find the goods! I originally planned to post it a month ago, but alas….life happened.
Happy produce shopping!

We have a few in Littleton. I try to go every Saturday and shop for produce there before I head to a grocery store. So many good finds this week!

My weekends have been so busy this summer that I haven’t had a single Saturday with time! Hoping to check ours out next weekend 🙂
YUM!!! I love Farmer’s Markets – I always find so many delicious treasures
FACT. I love finding random veggies that I’ve never heard of!
Aside from the baby, one of the #1 things I’m looking forward to on maternity leave is getting to continue to go to my favorite farmer’s market on Thursdays (10-3pm). I love it so much.
What a random time for a market?! How do most people go to it with those hours?
Love Farmer’s Markets and sorry I didn’t get to any when in CO last month. The people we stayed with don’t cook so not interested in this kind of outing. 🙁
Bummer! The Boulder farmers’ market is off the hook– so huge with so many different things!
