Just a Colorado Gal

It’s Facebook Official

When Will and I made our relationship “Facebook Official,” it was a big deal. Many likes came from that status update! And then, when we were engaged, people excitedly told us how fun it was that we were “Facebook official,” like that was some rite of passage. The Book of Face means some business!

For years, people have asked me why my blog doesn’t have a Facebook page. I had many reasons: I’m all over social media, I don’t need another platform, that’s too many social media arenas to manage, and what about the new algorithm that prevents followers from seeing your posts anyway? But finally, I had a chat with a friend who is a social media strategist and he confirmed what y’all have been telling me for eons. And with that, Just A Colorado Gal stepped into the 21st century and finally has a Facebook page!  {Yes, I’m aware I’m roughly 15 years behind everyone else!}

It’s a whopping 7 days old so I’m still figuring out this whole process. I can tell you that I will be sharing lots of photos and daily adventures that don’t make it onto my site since they don’t warrant entire posts. For example, I spent this past weekend skiing some insane powder at Breckenridge, but aside from being ridiculously fun, there wasn’t much to tell. But the photos? Very cool and those went up on my new page this morning!

If you’re interested in connecting on my newly-acquired Book of Face page, hop on over and give me a like. In addition to the fun photos, you’d make me feel like I have friends, which is always appreciated!
