Y’all, summer has rolled into Denver and it arrived with a vengeance! Days are filled with sunshine while afternoons have been doused with light rain and crazy thunderstorms. I could do without the heat {and this odd, totally-foreign-to-me humidity!}, but I love how green and lush everything looks. Trails are covered in hip-tall grass and birds are chirping everywhere. If that’s not summer perfection, I don’t know what is!
You know what else is awesome about summer? Red Rocks. In particular, workouts at Red Rocks! Not only is it a kick-ass musical venue with out-of-this-world natural acoustics, but it’s also a local hot spot for fitness shenanigans. Weekends find the stone staircase covered with runners, walkers and overly zealous fitness groups, all doing their thing. And later this summer, that will include yoga!
Yoga on the Rocks is coming to Denver for the third year and once again, will have four Saturday dates where yogis can get their bend on during the early-morning power vinyasa sessions at Red Rocks: July 25, August 1, August 8 and August 15. CorePower yoga is the brainchild behind Yoga on the Rocks, and trust me: it’s a fun day! I went last year and had an awesome time. Totally worth it!
