Just a Colorado Gal

Grad School Dilemnas

Blah. Another rainy day today–you know, I really wonder if I could ever really live in a state that had less sunshine and more rain. Everytime we get a day like that in Boulder, I have the urge to crawl under a blanket and watch a movie….if I lived in Seattle, I would seriously turn into a hermit!

Went to see my personal trainer for the first time this week and not gonna lie: I hurt the next morning! We just did a lot of weight stuff, which I definitely need, and i think it will be good. Interesting experience to say the least!

We also spent last Sunday at a Rockies game which was absolutely ridiculous. Angel, Missy, Adrian and I went and we got obliterated off good ol’ gameday beer. Even the lightrail was a little too much for us to handle and we had to get off to allow a certain somebody time to stop the spinning!

Been doing a lot of grad school thinking lately. I struggle with the decision because what I really want to do doesn’t sound like the most realistic and logical decision to most people. There are 4 or 5 decent outdoor education/environmental edu/experiential edu programs that I am looking at though, and I think they would all be awesome and really interesting and totally enjoyable. As far as careers after that, however, is what is still up in the air for me. As of now, I am look at Alaska Pacific University, Western Washington University in Bellingham, Univ of Minnesota at Manktato, Univ of New Hampshire, and UNC in Greeley. Quite a range. Kinda weird to think there is a good chance I will be living in Alaska next year too! Guess it is all about the experience though, right?! Any suggestions for me?
