Happy Saturday!
Wait, what?! I’m posting on a Saturday?! I know, weird. I barely know who I am anymore either. But here I sit, drinking coffee on a couch in our beautiful hotel room at the Elevation Hotel & Spa in Crested Butte {compliments of the tourism board} while Will saws logs in the bedroom with Tals. Man, I love my little family!
BUT, I wanted to quickly pop in to give y’all a heads up! Will and I are taking over the Gunnison-Crested Butte Instagram page this weekend as we gallivant about the beautiful mountainside in search of wildflowers. We came in June last year and the lupine were just hitting their stride but nothing else was popping just yet, so we arranged our visit a few weeks later this year. We also brought Tals along which means no mountain biking for us, but plenty of trail time for hiking and trail running!
Will snapped this photo last year; I can’t wait to see what we find this summer!

I love the idea of mountain biking as always. I hope you’re having fun.
