I am super excited, but the impending trip made my weekend super chaotic. I had lots of stuff to take care of before leaving, but now that the chores are all behind me, I’m looking forward to the sun and sand!
My day today eventually ends in Kauai where I will be meeting up with my parents. They have rented a condo on the south shore (I think) and the three of us will be hanging out there this entire week. I went to Kauai once in high school, and I remember thinking the island was absolutely beautiful!! I have my running shoes and hiking sandals with me, and I am really looking forward to getting away into the jungle. Maybe I will find T-Rex even! (Get it? Get it? Cause they filmed Jurassic Park on Kauai?!)

Anyway, after spending this week in Kauai with my parents, we will fly over to Honolulu this Saturday. We are making sure to fly into Oahu on the 25th because my sister’s birthday is the 26th– she is turning 28! CRAZY!
We will be spending the rest of our trip in Honolulu with my sister, and I have absolutely no idea what our plans are! Her birthday is this weekend, and mine is next Thursday, March 1, so I know we’ll be doing lots of birthday celebrations 🙂 I’d like to get over to Pearl Harbor because, although I visited when I was 18, I haven’t been back and I feel like it is something I’d appreciate more as an adult.
Regardless of what the next two weeks entail, I am very ready for some sunny weather! See y’all on the flip side!
