We are still here in Targanga, Colombia, and just finished our second day of the Advenced Dive Certification, and it has been awesome!! Steve and I did our deep dive today, down to 140 feet, and then did an underwater photography dive. I was clicking pictures of everything, but my pictures above land are never that great, so don´t count on much from underwater! We should be able to get them from Jose tomorrow, so
if I can, I will try to download a few. We are doing a shipwreck dive tomorrow morning–at 6:30 am, bleh!!!!!!–but I am superpsyched! I have always wanted to do that, so this should be really cool!!!
Colombia is perhaps the hottest country I have ever been in, at least here on the coast. Every day involves a minimum of 3 cold showers–more if I´m not scuba diving all day!–and I still feel like I am in a constant body sweat. I can´t say that I
mind it, having come from the frigid world known as Bolivia, but it is kinda crazy to be back on the perpetual summer kick…..or at least till winter rolls around back home!
Other than that, thought I would stick some pictures up here for everyone to
see……the first one is of the scuba course (we didn´t have any better pictures, but I promise, more to come!!!!), and the rest are of Cartagena. One is of Steve and I in the streets, since they are all so beautiful, one of Aaron and I at a restaurant, and the other of a sloth that we saw in a park in the middle of the city. Cool eh!!!!!
