I Dare You Not to Laugh

Have you ever tried hurdles before? I can actually say that I have because I spent one year as a hurdler on my freshman track team in high school. Was I any good? Hell no, but I did have the required flexibility from all my years as a dancer. Having said that, I took some of the largest spills of my life trying to conquer those damn things, and I can still remember how painful it was to face plant it into the floor of the indoor track arena 🙂

Why are we talking hurdles? One of my Facebook friends posted the below video yesterday, and I seriously could not stop laughing. This dude is on a mission, and you know what? I absolutely cannot blame him. There were times when I remember wanting to do the EXACT SAME THING!

So, without further adieu, please check the video out…and head into your weekend laughing!

Did you laugh??

If you have an awesome video that I need to see, plus share it with me in the comments!

OMG! That is awesome!! I love how he ran into the other guys lane, too, clearing his path. And the officials whistling – I’m sure telling dude to STOP! Thanks for sharing 🙂

WHAT! That’s hilarious. I ran hurdles for two years in junior high, it was fun but other than winning a few small meets I wasn’t very fast. 🙂

What the heck??? That would be what I would need to do to get over them!

Watched this when you posted on FB yesterday. Had me dying. I’m amazed that he does it without flinching too. Crazy.

I saw this on Twitter yesterday….I think the craziest thing is that, it’s China, so (1) kudos to him for breaking out of the mold and (2) he probably got an earful from his coach and race officials afterward!

I wouldn’t be able to make it over a hurdle in the first place. 🙂

I think this would be my answer if some said I was to run hurdles. Or to just turn around and run in the other direction and off the track:)
