I could be sad about this; I could be embarrassed….but I think it’s kinda my own fault! What am I talking about, you might ask?
I looked today, and you know what? I only have FOUR followers. That is (literally) not even a handful! Tragic! But actually, I then realized that I don’t have anything on my blog that says “Follow Me Here!” so I guess I’ll take some of the blame….and I’ll add that now. So will you be my friend……..puhleaaaaaaaaaase?!
Guess what else I did today? Biked to work. Yeah, that’s right. Left my house at 6am and hopped on my wheels to head into Denver. It’s actually the official Colorado Bike-to-Work Day so there were a lot of cyclists out. The route we take isn’t too bad–just shy of 30 miles round trip–but it’s pretty ghetto. Lots of busy roads, traffic, broken glass, etc.
Today was even worse because a bunch of kids had climbed up on top of an overpass and dropped a bag of glass bottles onto the trail. Of course, glass was shattered everywhere and we saw quite a few people with flats. Finally, we just said screw it and hopped off and carried our bikes. Definitely not a crazy tough workout with all the pauses for lights, etc., but there is definitely something to be said for getting your workout in before 8am!
What did you do today for a workout? Anyone else bike-to work, or was that just a special day today in Colorado?

Never heard of bike to work day. I thought about doing that here, but it’s so dang hot outside, I would need a shower by the time I got to work and I only live about 3 miles away! 🙁 Do you ever check your blog stats? Thats REALLY how to see how many followers you have. I don’t have many official people that have registered as a follower, but I get about 30-40 hits per post, so I know the sneaky readers are out there! Sometimes I get a random email or facebook message about it, and I’m like…..I never knew that person even knew about the B, much less read it……so you never know! There is a certain feeling of satisfaction though when someone actaully publically registers themselves as one of your followers.
Ha, that’s funny–me too! I have plenty of readers, just not followers. They seem to prefer to read in silence, and that’s ok too. I did that for a long time before I decided it was ok to admit that I was publicly addicted to reading about my blog friends!
