I know, how awesome is that? You see, next Friday, a good friend of mine is getting married back in her hometown of Bozeman, MT. We debated flying with driving, but in the end, driving won out because it is ONLY an 11 hour drive from Denver (Of course, this also includes driving through Wyoming which can get very sassy with the weather, so please keep your fingers and toes crossed that the random yet angry weather gods don’t decide to make an early-season attack upon our car. So normally, looking at an 11 hour drive doesn’t sound super appealing, but I am actually very excited and looking for to it (even though it’s a full week and a half away!) I’m driving up with my best friend, Angel, and she and I haven’t had a “girls trip” probably since we were 18 when we drove to San Diego for our senior trip. It was a trip of epic debacles and we pretty much got into trouble the entire time. It was awesome. Now, 12 years later, we get to try for round two and I imagine it will be equally as ridiculous.

Besides, she and I just get into trouble. Not like, “Oh, you were being really stupid and deserved that” kind of trouble, but we seem to accidentally make very bad decisions when we’re together 🙂 I mean, who WOULDN’T reverse down the interstate in broad daylight just to take a picture of the “Welcome to California” sign?! After all, you’re not passing that sign again on the way OUT of the state!
Her husband is already probably concerned for our well being. Poor guy.
The wedding should be fun too cause we have a bunch of other friends that will be there. Watch out, Bozeman, cause the CO is coming your way!!
Does anyone have any suggestions for music for our trip? Or any advice for this drive since neither of us have ever done it before?
Also, what do y’all think about renting a car? We both have SUVs, and I know my truck gets approximately 4.87621 miles per gallon (Just estimating here). Would it be worth the price of a smaller rental car you think?
