I’m Almost Done With Work…**Giveaway!**

Holy mackeral, it is beautiful outside! As most of you already know, my family owns a landscaping company and by default, we close down in the winter (December-February). What does that mean for me? It means tomorrow is my last day of work for three whole months!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel a little weird writing that since it is currently 55* and sunny out, but I am psyched! I love these three months because A) I get to ski and snowshoe whenever I want, B) I “get” to catch up on all my homework, C) These are the months where all my traveling occurs, and D) I get to do my workouts whenever and wherever I want. It’s a win-win and I’m definitely all smiles about it!

Awhile back, I won a giveaway over at The Athletarian. As a result, I scored a super awesome Chickband from Kara, the owner. Kara is a mother of two who also just happens to be a crazy runner woman also. I imagine she came up with the idea for Chickbands while running around after her kids 🙂

Anyway, not gonna lie–I was a little hesitant at first. If you haven’t noticed, I have a big ol’ head on my shoulders!! In my fam, we like to call it fiveheads instead of foreheads! The point? Usually those cute little workout headbands slingshot off my head so fast! I even had one pop off my head and fly across the room in yoga. True story. My head is round and large and even though headbands are adorable, I’ve never been able to wear them.

Enter Chickbands!

(Yes, I’m a terrible blogger and I have no picture of this sucker on my head. But yes, this is the one I own and it is awesome.) And at a very low average price of $7 per headband, I think these babies are totally affordable.
