#1: Cytomax.

| If there is a better Cytomax pic in the world, I don’t want to see it. |
Guys, it’s pretty nuts how much I prefer this performance drink to any other. I realize it isn’t circling blog world like so many of the other options out there, but I don’t care– it’s delicious and it doesn’t upset my stomach! I gave Nuun a try because I’ve heard so many good things, but honestly, I think it tastes kind of gross. I really like the tab form because of its ease of use, but that’s about it. Once I finished off the tubes I purchased, it was back to my good ol’ Cytomax!
Hint: the Cool Citrus flavor is my fave 🙂
#2: The birds on my balcony.
| See the lil’ buggers on the railing? |
Y’all have endured many bird stories from me over the past few months, so let’s just add another to the list, shall we?
Every summer, there is a family of birds that sets up shop in one of my house plants. I move all of my plants outside so my balcony is like a miniature jungle. I don’t mind the birds living in them because they never kill the plants and I like their little chirping sounds every morning! However, I think they are raising an army or something out there because there are three nests, and these mamas are POSSESSIVE. They put little sentinels on my railing, guarding the babies, and they really don’t like Tally. Every time she goes out there, they raise an alarm and this swarm of birds starts chirping in Tals’ face!
Thus far, nothing big has happened with them and we are living harmoniously, but I think it’s wicked funny to see Tals trot back inside with a perplexed look on her furry lil’ face 🙂
#3: Banana Ice Cream.
I’ve made this about a million times before, but I’ve added some new ingredients to this disgusting-looking concoction that have made it my new fave summer snack! When it’s a million degrees out, I tend to lose my appetite and only want to sit in my freezer.
Instead, I’ve started throwing chia seeds, cinnamon, vanilla protein powder, raspberries, and peanut butter into my food processor along with a couple of frozen bananas. It tastes like cold peanut butter ice cream and I am seriously obsessed. Like, eating it daily obsessed.
No shame, my friends, no shame. I can’t even freeze the bananas fast enough.
