See? I mean how freaking cute are we?!
In other news, you know how I was practically drooling at the prospect of our girls road trip? Yeah, that’s still true but the slime running down my face (is that too gross of a description?!) has increased exponentially. You know why? I’ll tell you. We decided that after the wedding and spending our two days in Bozeman, Angel and I are going to spend 24 hours in Yellowstone!! Hooray!!

Since it is so last minute, we booked what they call the Lake Lodge Pioneer Cabin. We get to stay in the park which is awesome, but I have to admit that I am wicked curious about what they look like. Some people online have bitched up a storm, complaining about how unkept they are and how ashamed the national park service should be with their maintenance of the cabins. Those angry people provided pics such as this:

I don’t know about you, but it looks fine to me! Granted, some of these whiny people were from NY and were complaining about the lack of coffee maker or hair dryer in the room. People, please. You are in Yellowstone. Buffalo and grizzly bears live there and you’re concerned about your hair?!!

Even better? I think Ang and I are going to drag our bikes to the wedding (seriously) so we can have them in Yellowstone! We’ve both been to Yellowstone before, so circling the entire park isn’t a priority. Not sure if we’re taking the roadies to ride around and look for large grizzlies, or the mountain bikes so we can stealth attack the bison, but either way, I’m going to be sure to bring a large jar of honey. After all, isn’t that how you are supposed to get great pics of all the cute little wild animals?!

Luckily, that’s not another child, or a grizzly for that matter. Shit could get crazy otherwise!
Which bike do you think I should bring???

This sounds like it’s going to be a wild trip! I’m thinking you might need mountain bikes! I feel like the terrain will be a little more unstable but what do I know?!?! Definitely bring honey too. You better get pics of bears. Cute little ones 🙂
#1 It’s so funny to hear/read different people tell a retell a story. Yours was sort of the Patrick version: very short and sweet. Mine was more on the novel end, as always. I went out this morning for a couple of hours with the puppies, and we we got back Patrick asked what we had been doing. I told him, almost everything as vaguely as possible for me. He said: Wow, how did you remember all that? I’m like: What are you talking about? It just happened?!?!?
#2 I’m still waiting for some of those funny pictures I know you have.
#3I would take a new yorker’s opinion on a camping cabin with a grain of salt.
#4 Take the mountain bikes so nothing is off limits. You might be pissed if you bring the roady and find something you want to explore and can’t.
