For reals. It is! As of 7:52 this morning, Colorado time, I am officially 30.
Weird.
Adios to my 20s. Peace out to the decade that housed my 21st birthday and my years of irresponsibility.

For some, I know that turning 30 freaked them out. I have definitely had a few friends that had mini heart attacks when they hit the fourth decade of their life, but that isn’t the case for me. I’m happy with what I’ve achieved in my 20s, or my vagabond years, as I like to call them 🙂 However, I’m glad that I no longer live out of a backpack and I’m even happier that I have a few career paths in my future….and I suppose it’s nice to be back in the States, too!
So, in light of that, here’s to my 30s, the next decade of my life!

Happy Birthday!!! I didnt worry about turning 30 too much, but when i think that the next BIG birthday in 8 1/2 years is a 40th i cringe a little!! (It goes so darn fast!!!)

Happy Birthday! I used to be freaked out a bit about 30, but now halfway through them, they are great. Freaking out a bit about being 40. That just sounds old to me…no offense to 40+ year olds. I just remember my parents at 40 and it doesn’t seem possible that I’m closing in on that age.

I was okay with turning 30. Turning 31 was weird though, because then I felt like I was “in my 30’s” – silly, huh?

Happy 30th Birthday! I didn’t like turning 30 and was a little bummed about it. I actually ended up having the best times in my 30s and celebrated my 40th last year with a BIG SURPRISE PARTY and I LOVED it! I wish I had embraced 30 like you are…live & learn, right?

I turned 30 in September and well, I totally don’t feel like I actually am. Either way, I think I’m going to enjoy life more thoroughly this decade thanks to a healthy dose of wisdom. Time is the only way to get that! Happy Birthday!
