It’s My Lucky Day!

Guess what guys….this is big news!

I told you yesterday that I’ve been sick and I was fairly miserable yesterday. And miserable Heather = cranky Heather = not fun to be around. It’s just the way I am when I don’t feel well.

But there’s always a silver lining, right?! I NEVER win anything in my life, especially the giveaways that go around the blog world. I just am never that lucky. But you know what? In the last 6 days I have won THREE of them! I won the Yoplait giveway last week from Amanda over at Run To the Finish, and then on Friday I won the Lara Bar giveaway from Suz and Allan over at Cows and Lasers and Everything In Between. I was feeling pretty sassy about myself, but then I got sick and I got sad….until I won my third giveaway last night from Christina over at The Athletarian! And to make it even better? I woke up this morning feeling better. Not 100%, go skipping down my stairwell-better, but good enough that I’m going to work and –gasp!–am even going to try to get a workout in tonight!

To top off my excitement with finally getting a workout in, RunEatRepeat’s Pile on the Miles challenge began today! I woke up with the Google Doc in my email account, and it’s nice to have something to feel accountable for. The goal with her challenge is to run or walk at least 5 miles every week through Thanksgiving. The only catch for me is that this challenge is very geared towards running and walking — obtaining actual miles. I do a lot of Body Pump, spin class, etc which won’t count towards the challenge. C’est la via.

On to my Happy Tuesday!! 🙂

Are you doing the POTM challenge??

How do you stay moving during the winter months? To you go outside or head to the gym?

I swear they come in threes for me ALWAYS! I’m on a set of threes right now…I’ve won two giveaways in the last couple weeks, so I know a third is shortly coming!

    Hooray for free stuff 😀

Congrats my friend!! Glad you’re feeling better too.

I had a similar streak where I won three giveaways in one week, but never won anything sense. But I’m sure your streak will continue!

Yay for some awesome winnings! That always helps me feel better! I head outside in all but the very worst weather in the winter. If I had a treadmill I would probably not go out quite so much! 🙂

Wow you are on a winning streak! Go girl! Glad to hear you are feeling better and love those dog pics!

You are on a roll! I never win anything, ummm that’s probably because I don’t enter anything. 🙂

I love the body pump class and swim at the gym, but for the most part, I try to get outside as much as possible over the winter!

Sorry you are sick! But winning makes everything better! You are lucky!

Love that you won not one, but THREE giveaways!! Send some of that luck my way!
Working out in the winter is tough… motivation wise. I love running when it is chilly outside, but when it’s below freezing you’ll find me at the gym. No slipping on ice for this girl.

Winning cool stuff always makes a girl feel better! But rest up, too. Get well so you can be up for that challenge.

Hooray for winning two other giveaways besides mine! That’s pretty awesome. I haven’t gotten an email for POTM yet. I hope I’m on the list!

Spring and Fall are my good workout seasons. Summer is only great when you can get to the lake for water sports. I wish there was winter things to do in Texas!!!!! Otherwise I’m bound to the gym.
