So, I feel awful today! A girlfriend’s bachelorette party was yesterday and in honor of the Kentucky Derby, we all got dressed up derby-style and went down to Wash Park to celebrate in style. I’m talking the dresses, the heels, and of course, the big hats! We were true Southern belles! 🙂
Anyway, the day started at 11am with bottomless mimosas so needless to say…..a lot of the day is a blur! We started out at Wash Park Grille and then went next door where the Derby Bar Crawl people were at. It was great to see so many people dressed up–a lot of the guys even had on shirts and ties and old-fashioned newsboy caps! We hung in the area most of the day before heading to Lola’s (the standby!) but I definitely think I drank too much. I finally got home around midnight which wouldn’t be bad except we had been going since before lunch. Either way, we had an awesome time and it was a great day to spend with all the ladies 🙂
