La Plata Peak! This weekend is the 2012 inaugural 14er weekend, so we’re headed up to the Buena Vista area after work tonight so we can tackle the peak tomorrow morning. We are planning on staying up there tomorrow night also, just so we can hang out at the campsite, eat s’mores, drink beers, and watch the pups run around.
Guess what else? In addition to Craig and Cindy, there is going to be a Denver blogger meetup on the mountain! Both Heidi and Paula are joining in on the fun, and three bloggers pretty much ensures far too many pics of the weekend. Stay tuned!

The Bolder Boulder!
Every year, this massive 10k takes place on Memorial Day and this year is no exception. We are purposely coming back from the mountains on Sunday so we can all run this chaotic course on Monday.
The BB is always a good time, although very rarely is a race for time.There are soooooo many people and the course is covered with spectators offering you beer, cupcakes, cookies, and slip ‘n slides, just to name a few. I usually decide to play and frolic over the 6.2 miles instead of focus on running, but we’ll see what happens this year.
