So this weekend was Brandon’s bday and we decided to celebrate in style…with a Rockies game. They lost, of course, but they played the Dodgers so I enjoyed seeing Manny be the complete ass that he is. Definitely wasn’t aware that I was the only person on this earth that actually likes the man! My own friends even booed me because of it! 😉 Although, I can admit that it was pretty ridiculous when he stood on second base and waited for his teammates to bring him his glove from the dugout…..’cause the dugout is OH SO FAR away.
This pic is of the Man Row. The guys in the group determined that a man row was necessary for complete-game enjoyment. Apparently the laughing coming from the Women Row was disturbing the aforementioned game enjoyment 😉
On an entirely different note, races and race suggestions are getting throw at me left and right this wonderful summer season and I want to do them all! Wild West Relay, Urban Assault, Denver Oyster, Steamboat Triathlon, Tri for the Cure, etc. The list goes on forever. I am already registered for the Bolder Boulder and the Steamboat Half and am debating the Tri for the Cure and the Steamboat Tri. They are both in August but like 3 or 4 weeks apart so I am wondering whether I could just do both. I haven’t heard wonderful things about the Cure tri but I thought it would be an easy way to introduce Angel to the sport. And another part of me just wants to forget them all because I know that it will be summer and I will want to go camping and backpacking and climbing and biking and i will feel the pressure to get my training in. Ha, such difficult decisions!
