Had a doc appt today that always leaves me feeling kinda nervous, so I hit the weights pretty hard this afternoon to de-stress. I’m really making a concerted effort to strength train more often, and today was all about shoulders. They hurt already and its not even the next day!!! I have that Tough Mudder race coming up in a few months though, so I have to make sure I can pull myself over a few walls!
Anyway, I cam home starving! I decided to make a south western polenta casserole for dinner and it turned out delicious:
Then I decided that I still wanted to cook/eat more, so I decided it was time to make dessert. I have a lot of fruit from Sprouts, so I attempted some lemon bars. They aren’t cut or cooled in the pic, but I bet they will be delicious!
Ok, so I’m am getting a lot of flack for eating Chia seeds! Some friends of mine turned me onto them a month or two ago, and I’ve been taken the Chia gel pretty regularly. I really feel like it makes me feel a lot better and stronger, although the gel does look admittedly disgusting. Am I the only one that thinks the seeds are great for you?!
