In Colorado, we have to schedule our installations around the weather…which is easier said than done. We often get snowstorms in May, and June blizzards have been known to happen. However, with the sun peeking out in early March, our season came early and fast, and it came with a vengeance!
So, these days, I’m at work. A lot. Practically a million hours per week! And when I’m not working, I’m on the phone, talking to employees or clients. But you know what? It’s okay because although it’s crazy…and frustrating…and stressful…and chaotic…I actually like it! It’s my favorite time of the year because I enjoy designing the installs, I enjoy seeing them planted in the earth, and love watching them grow and flourish throughout the summer.
Even if it does mean that I have no life for 4-6 weeks 🙂

madness!
Love that you are involved with flowers, I dream about growing a green thumb and being competent in the garden!!
My life these days is pretty peaceful…but with an underlying excitement/anxiety about what to with regards to grad school.
I am SUCH a wannabe gardener, but have the blackest thumb ever. I can’t keep a plant alive to save my life! I planted some herbs last weekend and won’t be surprised if they’re dead in a week. I need to learn the secrets!
My life in one word right now? ANXIOUS. I’m so ready for the school year to be over, it’s all I’m living for. 3 more weeks!
Living in NYC, I WISH that I had room for more flowers and for a garden. That’s the one thing that I would love and my younger sons always wants to plant things. So we plant one or two pots of annuals on our balcony. I guess I should be thankful that we at least have a that! My life right now – CRAZED.
My husband is a landscaper, so I understand this busy season all too well! He works 6 days/week from March until June. I feel like I never see him! But, like you, he loves his job. 🙂
LOL – I was just out weeding my front garden today and thinking I needed to get some annuals…..
I have a green thumb, but it doesnt last. They look GREAT for awhile, but by the following season are not so pretty. Maybe it’s the massive heat/cold swings we have, but I can’t imagine it is more than Colorado temps. Great photos.
Love your pictures. Yes, I am a gardener at heart. Just moving into an apartment and before we bought any furniture I was growing herbs, veggies and flowers in my container garden on the balcony.
Have a great season!
I love planting. We are super low budget so i have done a little bit at a time… its fun but needs a little work
Love the photos! We don’t have any flowers at all 🙁 We are just too busy to do it!
Such pretty pictures! We’re hoping to get out this weekend and get some of our veggie garden planted. Love that in theory, we’re past the last frost date (though in practice, I’ll hold my breath for the next 3 weeks)
snow storms, in june? thats crazy. its almost 100F here by then. rest up and keep the lovely landscaping coming!!
what gorgeous things to work with! I’m stuck in a little part of a retail store for the whole day…NO WINDOWS! My life right now: never home! Can’t wait to be in denver this weekend!
My life is busy right now, but in another week or so, it should be much, much slower! So excited!!
I’m definitely a flower-lover, but I doubt I’d be able to grow any on my own. I love to gaze about the fruits of others, I guess. Such beauty!
