When I talk to my parents, they remember where they were when JFK was shot and when Elvis died. 9/11 is the event that our generation will remember exactly where they were and what we were doing when we found out.
I definitely agree with the above comment that 9/11 is our generations moment in history that we will ALWAYS remember where we were when it happened. For me it was my junior year of high school and I was in my English class when we found out what happened.
