No Sleep for the Weary

I’m pretty sure I had a charming and clever post planned for today (has that ever happened on my blog?!), but that probably isn’t going to happen since I can barely remember the day of the week. Y’all, I am seriously so tired!

Busy season kicked off this week and if the past couple of days are any indication, it’s gonna be a hectic couple of weeks. I ended up working at my parents’ house till 7:30 on Wednesday night, and then went home to finalize the details of my Asolo review that y’all read. Naturally, that short, 1:30 clip took far longer than planned when my Windows Movie Maker continued to crash over…and over…and over again. Luckily, Heidi came to my rescue and merged my two clips together, for which I am insanely thankful. We finally got that sorted around 10:30pm, but I still had a few hours of work to prep for an early morning Thursday meeting. Soooooooo, needless to say, Thursday was a foggy day where I subsisted on 3.5 hours of sleep and worked outside in the sun all day. Great combo of first world problems, no?!

I wore my new Outdoor Research Squadron cap in hopes that it would hide my glorious black circles 🙂

Regardless of all that, the day got better because Will flew in last night! Granted, I had to go straight from work to the airport and I’m sure my haggard looking face was supremely impressive. I was so glad to see him 🙂 This is just another weekend trip, but it will be a good couple of days. My lease is up shortly, so he probably just flew in to ensure that I pack appropriately… I’m not known for organization OR for using actual boxes, so this should be highly entertaining. Additionally, I managed to schedule a volunteer project for our company on Saturday, so not only will I not be packing like planned, but I’ll instead be spending more time working. Something new for the month of May, hooray!

Now that I’ve gotten all that whining out of the way, here is what I think you should do: go enter my giveaway for some Reebok gear, because that will make me happy. And if you aren’t interested in those sweet tights for some reason, you should probably just go win the Asolo hiking boots. So many fun things that I can barely stand it!

Happy weekend, my friends!

I crashed HARD last night– like, 8:30- hard. Poor Will was probably like, glad I came to visit! 🙂

I’m leaving Tahoe for the weekend for Seattle, going from 75 and sunny to 55 and raining. Argh, Seattle! Why do you make it so hard to love you?

Hope you have a great weekend!

Were you using windows movie maker live? If so, get 2.6 immediately. I had a class where I had to do a ton of projects on that program and I learned that the hard way. Yay for Will! As far as the packing that sounds EXACTLY like Eric and I.
