It’s 5am. I’ve showered, packed, and am loading the bikes on the back of the rental car as we speak. Doesn’t that sound way too productive for so early?
But guess what? We didn’t get a Nissan Versa. The rental place thought they’d be nice and give us an upgrade: a Chevy Impala.

That’s right, now my grandma could happily come along on this road trip because I stole her car. On the bright side, if my bike rack doesn’t fit, we can just mash them in the trunk. It’s large enough to fit a few dead bodies even.
On the other plus side? It’s not a PT Cruiser!!

I had to drive a Chevy HHR (PT knock off) when my car was in the shop last year. Not cool at all.
AGHAHAHAHAHA, I knew they would upgrade you!!! They always upgrade us. I loved the impala we drove when we were visiting you. Nice and smooth!!! I’ve worked day shift for two days in a row now, having to wake up at 0555, and it’s almost killed me both times. I don’t know how you do it! Have fun!
