Put the umbrella down and back away, Britney. I think you’ve done enough damage here.
I, on the other hand, haven’t done anywhere near enough! And by enough, I mean that I have been the laziest individual to ever (not) walk the face of the earth! See that DailyMile thing on the side of my page? Yeah, it’s accurate. That really was my last workout. Oooops.
The way I see it, I’m not entirely to blame. This was supposed to be a taper week since I have the Iron Girl Tri on Saturday. So really, like half of my inactivity is due to my “taper.” Yeah, I didn’t really think y’all were stupid enough to believe that either.

Britney, on the other hand, might think I’m telling the troof.
The other half is because this week was SO DAMN BUSY. I don’t want to whine, cause that’s kind of annoying. But between work and all my finals due on the same day as my triathlon, I’ve been a bit swamped. And, since I’m a glass half full kinda gal, I’ve decided that I’m gonna look at this week as an extended taper. I’m probably so rested up right now that I’ll just run circles around all those women on Saturday and more than likely win the entire race.

Yeah, that’ll happen. The way I see it, Britney and I have equal odds of out running, like, SUAR.
Now, if I could only get my blog to blast Britney Spears music from your computer while reading this post, I would feel like this week had been a complete success. Now that Steve Jobs is without a job, maybe I’ll see if he can get right on that for me.
