Just a Colorado Gal

When was the last time you weren’t at least a little tired?

Seriously, think about it! I’m having a rough time catching up on life since coming back from my 2 weeks of off-and-on vacations, and sleep is something that I am struggling to catch up with. I thought about whining, but then I really stopped and thought for a second–when was the last time you felt absolutely, not-at-all, not even a little bit tired? I can’t remember the day. I think I might have been like 7 and insisting that I didn’t need a nap. Man, I miss naps.

He enjoys his naps too. Jealous.

Anyway, of course life doesn’t stop when you’re tired (cause really, who wants to hear you whine about how tired you are after going to Maine and Oregon for vacation? Here’s a hint: absolutely no one.) In light of this, I’ve found a few things that are helping me get through the week:

Man, I love this stuff. Terrible but so delicious. Unless you’re delusional, and then you think it’s a part of a healthy diet. I don’t. I just think the ridiculous sugar will give me a few extra minutes of hyperness. Win-win.

It’s called White Chocolate Wonderful. Do I need to explain anything else?

These two vats-of-fat have been closely followed by a great book I’m reading:

Yes, I know. I am waaaaaaaaaay behind on the Wicked craze but I finally bought the book at Powell’s in Portland, OR. It is so good, seriously. Every night I want to read it but I have to save it for after the studying and pre-bedtime. It’s tough  but it definitely helps me fight the ZZZzzzzzzzzz’s. Know what I mean?

What do you use to keep you going when you think you’re body is going to crash??
